North Texas sophomore defensive lineman Keviyan Huddleston obviously knows his Mean Green history.

Because after recovering a fumble with 5:06 left in the first quarter of North Texas’s game at Army on Saturday afternoon, Huddleston went to the sidelines and didn’t just celebrate in any normal way. He harkened back to a famous North Texas football player who made a certain celebration iconic.

Huddleston’s celebration paid homage to Stone Cold Steve Austin, one of the most famous wrestlers of all-time and, before he got famous doing that, a former Mean Green football player.

The game was nationally televised by CBS Sports Network, and sure enough the CBS cameras caught Huddleston doing his Stone Cold celebration after recovering the Army fumble. Here is the priceless moment that only college football could bring:

By the end of the third quarter, North Texas had a 31-21 lead, and Huddleston had 2 tackles, 1 of them solo. But nobody who watched the game on CBS Sports Network will be talking about any tackles that Huddleston made.

They’ll be talking about the celebration that went viral in honor of a North Texas football legend.
