After the opening week of the college football season featured few marquee matchups, Week 2 makes up for that and then some.
One of the headlining games of this upcoming week takes place in Ann Arbor, as Oklahoma will be making the return trip to face Michigan in a battle of College Football Playoff hopefuls.
And according to DraftKings, the Sooners will be a road favorite in this top-25 clash, as they are being given -6.5 points against the Wolverines.
These two teams earned their 1-0 records in very different ways, which is likely a large part of the reason OU is favored.
Brent Venables’ bunch cruised to a 51-0 win over UTEP on Friday night, with quarterback John Mateer looking healthy and efficient and the defense living up to its usual standard.
Meanwhile, Michigan needed every second to take down in-state foes Western Michigan, as the Broncos marched into the Big House and took a 12-7 lead deep into the fourth quarter. A controversial two-play Hail Mary attempt ensued, and the second try saw UM receiver JJ Buchanan save the day with a game-winning touchdown.
The Sooners and Wolverines will kick off at noon ET on Saturday, with the game being broadcast by FOX. Oklahoma earned a 24-13 win over Michigan in Norman last fall.
