Oklahoma set to add late transfer CB to 2026 roster, per report

Oklahoma is expected to add cornerback D’Yoni Hill to its 2026 roster, according to a report.
That news was shared by CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz on Monday morning. Hill is a former contributor for Wisconsin and Miami and even started 5 games for the Canes back in 2024, Zenitz notes.

More recently, Hill played at Wisconsin and registered 39 tackles and 3 tackles for loss for the Badgers in 2025.
Pro Football Focus gave Hill a 59.7 coverage grade across 216 snaps in 2025. He was targeted 30 times, allowing 21 receptions for 264 yards and 0 touchdowns. He primarily played outside cornerback for the Badgers.
Hill will presumably serve as cornerback depth for Oklahoma in 2026 once he’s added to the roster. The Sooners have Courtland Guillory, Eli Bowen and Jacobe Jordan who are entrenched as their top 3 corners, but have little proven depth beyond that trio.
Oklahoma had to submit its 2026 roster to the SEC prior to its opener against UTEP in Week 1. However, league rules state that OU can still add players to during the season as long as there’s space on its 105-man roster.
Oklahoma will face Michigan on the road in Week 2.
