Ole Miss has gone into enemy territory to land its latest commitment. Corey Barber, a blue-chip wideout from Alabama, has pledged to play for Lane Kiffin‘s Ole Miss program.

Out of Birmingham (Alabama) Spain Park High School, Barber is listed as measuring over 6-feet and 180 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Barber is rated 4-stars, the No. 13 player in the state of Alabama, No. 46 wide receiver and No. 273 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.

Barber drew notable interest during his recruitment. He has picked up scholarship offers from 28 programs, including Auburn, Florida State, Arkansas, Oregon, Tennessee, Penn State and Texas A&M.

For Friday’s announcement, Barber told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that it came down to Ole Miss, Miami, Alabama and Georgia.

With Barber on board, Ole Miss now has 8 players committed in its 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 23 nationally on the Composite. Fans can get a preview of what he brings to Oxford by checking out his junior highlights in the video below, via Hudl:
