Ole Miss earned a pair of commitments Friday evening, one from 3-star Class of 2024 WR Sanfrisco Magee and another from Oregon State running back transfer Jam Griffin.

The more immediate impact player of the 2 is obviously Griffin, who will play for his 3rd program since entering CFB in 2019. Griffin was a 4-star RB in the Class of 2019 and first committed to Georgia Tech before eventually landing in Corvallis. He will have 2 seasons of eligibility remaining for the Rebs.

Griffin should compliment Quinshon Judkins and Ulysses Bentley well. The 5-9, 210-pound back rushed for 488 yards with 4 touchdowns last season in the Pac-12.

Griffin is a graduate transfer and entered the portal just under a week ago. He will be immediately eligible to play next season.

Head coach Lane Kiffin and the Rebels haven’t slowed in the portal this late in the clock. With the season set to start in under a month, Kiffin has added a few late prospects in Clemson transfer TJ Dudley, Miami transfer Chris Graves Jr and now Griffin.
