Ole Miss won’t have Kewan Lacy available against Georgia on Saturday. It will, though, have an offensive starter ready to go for a key Week 10 game that could go a long way in determining each team’s road to the College Football Playoff.

Terez Davis, the Rebels’ starting left tackle, was shown as probable on the SEC‘s initial availability report on Wednesday. As you can see below, he wasn’t on Thursday’s updated report:

Davis, in his second season in Oxford after transferring from Maryland, redshirted after appearing in four games in 2025. He’s emerged as the Rebels’ starting left tackle in 2026 and has played in all but one game. His only absence was against Texas.

The initial Top 25 showed the Bulldogs at No. 2 and the Rebels at No. 10. A loss for Ole Miss on Saturday doesn’t necessarily mean the end of their Playoff hopes. But it won’t have many more opportunities to improve its resume. After Week 10, the Rebels have Oklahoma, FCS Wofford, and the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State remaining.

That’s on top of the fact that Ole Miss enters Saturday with two losses. It won’t be impossible for a three-loss team to make the Playoff, but it will certainly be more difficult.
