Ole Miss reveals uniform combo for SEC opener at Kentucky

No. 20 Ole Miss will stroll into its SEC opener with some icy drip in Week 2.
The Rebels revealed their uniform combination for their game at Kentucky. Ole Miss will rock the powder blue helmets with white jerseys and pants.
That’s a clean look for an Ole Miss squad that played sharp in a season-opening 63-7 victory vs. Georgia State. Quarterback Austin Simmons had 341 passing yards with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Running back Kewan Lacy rushed for 108 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wide receiver Harrison Wallace III caught 5 receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Kentucky defeated visiting Toledo 24-16 last week. Ole Miss will have to contain running back Dante Dowdell, who rushed for 129 yards and a 79-yard touchdown in the Wildcats’ opener.
Ole Miss leads the all-time series 29-15-1 vs. Kentucky. However, Kentucky defeated Ole Miss 20-17 in last season’s meeting from Oxford. Josh Kattus scored the game-deciding 2-yard rushing touchdown with 2:25 to go. Prior to last season, Ole Miss had a 3-game winning streak against Kentucky.
Ole Miss at Kentucky is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff from Kroger Field. The SEC clash will be televised on ABC.
