Ole Miss has a big next few weeks ahead of it.
The Rebels, ranked No. 9 in the country heading into Week 7, face three teams in the Top 15 over the next four games. That important stretch begins on Saturday, when they welcome No. 13 Mizzou to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
Ole Miss is 2-1 in the SEC. A loss to the Tigers won’t kill off the Rebels’ College Football Playoff hopes. But it will give them a slim margin for error the rest of the way with Texas and Georgia looming.
On Thursday night, Ole Miss revealed its uniform combination for Saturday’s game. It will be wearing its Realtree helmets for this one, with red jerseys, red gloves, and gray pants finishing off the look:
Ole Miss vs. Mizzou is a rare matchup. Saturday marks just the eighth all-time meeting between the two programs. The Tigers have won the last six, most recently by a score of 38-27 in Columbia in 2019.
Ole Miss’s lone win in the series came in 1974, and it was a low-scoring one, at that. The Rebels defeated the Tigers 10-0 in a game that was played not in Oxford, but in Jackson, Miss.
