Ole Miss student drills $1 million kick on College GameDay

The crew from ESPN’s College GameDay traveled to Oxford, Mississippi, on Saturday for the top-10 matchup between the Ole Miss Rebels and the LSU Tigers.
As has become tradition over the past several years on GameDay, Pat McAfee put up a good chunk of his own money for a random student to sink a 33-yard field goal.
This Saturday, Pat put $1 million on the line, and an Ole Miss student stepped up from the crowd and absolutely drilled the kick to secure a massive payday in front of a national audience.
Starting back in 2023, the Pat McAfee Kicking Challenge is now in it’s third season as a part of College GameDay. A former NFL placekicker himself, McAfee has put his own money on the line every single week.
So far this year, the payouts have absolutely skyrocketed, with Week 1’s winner earning $1.2 million and Week 2 and 3’s winners taking home $1 million a piece.
This is some truly life-changing money for just about any college student, and McAfee will be giving out plenty more as the season continues to roll along.
