Ole Miss takes lead over Louisville on a 62-yard TD pass to Deuce Alexander

Ole Miss entered the season with big expectations, but the Rebels found themselves in a tough challenge on Sunday night against Louisville in the lone matchup between Top 25 teams.
Trailing 13-10 in the third quarter, Rebels quarterback Trinidad Chambliss made his first big play of the season, as he connected with Deuce Alexander for a 62-yard touchdown to take the lead.
It was a good pass from Chambliss, but Alexander showcased his elite speed as he ran away from multiple Cardinals defenders.

Alexander had a solid year last year for the Rebels, finishing with 44 catches for 684 yards and two touchdowns in a limited role. This season, he is one of the go-to receivers for the Rebels, and he showed why with that touchdown.
With Chambliss and running back Kewan Lacy, the Rebels have the best backfield in all of college football. If Alexander is able to take his game to another level, the Rebels will once again be contenders for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
The Rebels will look to close out Week 1 with a win against the Cardinals, and then they will be back in action next week at home against Charlotte. Kickoff in that game is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ET, and the game will be on ESPN2.
