Ole Miss WR Deuce Alexander named to Biletnikoff Award Watch List

The 2026 college football regular season is about to hit its official midway point this Saturday, and that means that all the major award services and outlets are beginning to seriously take stock of who the top players at each position are in an effort to narrow down their list of candidates.
One of the more intriguing award battles that takes place every year is the chase for the Biletnikoff Award, which is given out annually to the best wide receiver in all of college football.
The foundation that is in charge of awarding the Biletnikoff just released its updated watch list, and star Ole Miss pass catcher Deuce Alexander was one of several elite wideouts included as a midseason addition.
This comes as little surprise, as Alexander has arguably been the most electric wide receiver in the country after emerging as the top target for star Rebels quarterback Trinidad Chambliss in his second season on campus in Oxford.
As of this writing, Alexander has hauled in 27 passes for 429 yards and 4 touchdowns, and he’s done so in just 4 games as Ole Miss had their bye during Week 5, meaning that all the other top contenders have a full game of production more than he does.
It seems pretty clear at this juncture that Alexander is on pace to be firmly in the mix to take home the Biletnikoff come season’s end, and it will be interesting to see how he performs over the back half of the season.
