Paul Finebaum caller ‘Slammer’ awkwardly broadcasts apparent doctor’s appointment

Paul Finebaum has fielded plenty of calls from “Slammer” over the years on his TV and radio show, but this one might have been one of the weirdest.
On Thursday’s edition of The Paul Finebaum Show, Finebaum queued up Slammer to get his thoughts on the day. What Finebaum heard, though, was what sounded like a doctor’s appointment.
“I lost about 40 points, and I was doing real good,” Slammer can be heard telling someone, presumably his doctor.
“Slammer is next,” Finebaum hilariously repeated, trying to get Slammer’s attention, but to no avail. “Slammer, are you there?”
That’s when things took a, well, very unexpected turn.
“What color is your bowel movement?” Slammer’s doctor could be heard asking.
“Normal,” Slammer replied.
“What’s normal?”
“Brown.”
“I think we’ve unfortunately tuned into a colonoscopy live on the air there,” Finebaum finally said after the call was cut.
Here’s video, in case you need it:
The thing is, this isn’t even the most unusual Finebaum call of all time, which is saying a lot — and perhaps that’s how he was able to hold it together.
Add this one to the already large and unusual Paul Finebaum Show annals. And, most importantly, hopefully Slammer’s OK.
