Paul Finebaum never seems to hold back when it comes to Clemson coach Dabo Swinney. The latest comments came after Clemson lost to N.C. State on Saturday.

โ€œDabo Swinney, for all of his charm, is a pretty lousy loser,โ€ Finebaum said on the ESPN College Football Podcast. โ€œNobody wants to hear his wine, nobody really wants to hear him say whatever he says. Heโ€™s a good winner โ€” well, heโ€™s not even a good winner. But heโ€™s a terrible loser.โ€

For Finebaum, the struggles at Clemson begin at one position.

โ€œI really do think it starts at the offensive line position,โ€ Finebaum said of Swinneyโ€™s struggles. โ€œI heard Dabo a month ago saying, โ€˜we are much better at the offensive line. I really like this offensive line.โ€™ If he likes that offensive line, he likes bad football because they canโ€™t block anything. Theyโ€™re done for the season; it doesnโ€™t matter whoโ€™s left.โ€

Clemson returns to action next week against Boston College on homecoming, before its bye week.
