Paul Finebaum participated in a discussion on ESPN’s “Get Up” Monday morning about the top 4 teams in college football.
The ESPN commentator and SEC Network host pegs his top 4 teams as:
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Ohio State
- Oklahoma
Finebaum said “you could quibble” about Georgia, but he believes the Bulldogs separated themselves, and after that, besides the bad performance, he still likes Ohio State. Finebaum also noted that Oklahoma struggled, and always struggles in early games.
Finebaum reacted to ESPN colleague Heather Dinich, who earlier in the weekend released her Playoff top 4 as 1. Alabama, 2. Ohio State, 3. Georgia, 4. Cincinnati.

Did you miss us this a.m. on @GetUpESPN because you stayed up too late watching FSU/ND? I understand. It hurts. So we’re back at 9 for you. I don’t think @finebaum likes my top 4. Sorry, P, they can’t ALL be @SEC teams ;)
