Former 4-star QB prospect, LSU quarterback Peter Parrish enters NCAA transfer portal

The NCAA transfer portal has added one of the highest-rated quarterback prospects in the 2019 recruiting cycle as former LSU signal-caller Peter Parrish was recently added to the database.

Parrish was rated as the No. 11 dual-threat quarterback and a top 325 overall prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle out of Central High School in Phenix City, Ala., when he signed with the Tigers.

Parrish was suspended by Ed Orgeron this offseason and had been removed from the team’s online roster in July. He was not expected to return to the program, which is set to begin training camp this week in Baton Rouge.

Entering the transfer portal does not mean Parrish cannot return to LSU but it is the first step toward the Alabama native leaving the program for good. Entering the database simply allows other programs and coaches the ability to reach out to the quarterback regarding a transfer.
