Peter Woods, a 5-star defensive lineman out of Alabaster, Alabama (Thompson) has a strong chance to play in the SEC after he announced his top 6 programs on Sunday, and 4 of them hail from that conference.

Woods’ top 6 is Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Clemson and Oregon. Woods is rated the No. 4 defensive lineman in the country in the class of 2023, and the No. 23 player overall, according to the 247Sports Composite. Woods has a reported 34 offers, and is listed at 6-foot-3 and 259 pounds.

Woods’ cousin, Amari Kight, is currently a redshirt sophomore with the Crimson Tide. Woods’ teammate, 5-star rusher Jeremiah Alexander, signed his letter of intent during the December period and is enrolling early, AL.com reported.
