Peyton Manning to join College GameDay for Pat McAfee’s kicking contest in Week 4

Tennessee legend Peyton Manning will participate in a popular College GameDay segment on Saturday in Knoxville.
ESPN announced that Manning will be part of Pat McAfee’s kicking contest this week. This is the 4th season for McAfee’s kicking contest, which gives one fan a chance to kick of a 33-yard field goal for a various sums of money.

Manning and McAfee know each other well — they were teammates on the Indianapolis Colts for multiple seasons during their NFL careers.
Manning has deep ties to both programs. A former Tennessee star, he remains a legend on campus and his son Marshall is a high school quarterback prospect in Chattanooga.
Manning, of course, is also the uncle of Texas quarterback Arch Manning. Earlier this offseason, the ex-Vol made it clear he would be rooting for “family” when these teams met in Knoxville.
“One of the kids was asking me earlier who I was going to go for,” Manning said back in June. “I said, ‘who do you think?’ and he said that he would go for his school over his relative. I went ‘you and I are different. You and I are wired differently.’ Nothing is more important than your family.”
Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
