Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity has not been the most popular person in Athens, Ga. since firing Mark Richt on Sunday.
After all, it can seem awfully cold-hearted to fire a football coach who’s won 145 games and two SEC championships in 15 seasons, and is viewed as a class act on and off the field.
The Place, a restaurant in Athens across the street from Georgia’s campus, took a shot at McGarity on a sign outside of its front door.

At Georgia, the athletic director’s heart may be cold, but luckily for Bulldogs fans, so is the beer.
