Florida came in to Saturday afternoon’s game in Baton Rouge needing a win to clinch an SEC East title.

The Gators stepped up and held strong with a late goal-line stand to secure a 16-10 victory over LSU.

In the second half, the Gators’ rushing attack carried the load, gashing a normally stout Tiger defense for several big gains.

Leading the way was sophomore RB Jordan Scarlett, who amassed 22 carries, 108 yards and one scary photo:

It’s hard to blame LSU defenders for not wanting to tackle that beast of a man coming toward them.

In a game the Gators needed to win, they channeled their inner Jordan Scarlett and got the job done.
