Roderick announced his plans on social media on Saturday, and added, “I see a level that I want to reach.” Roderick will play in his fifth season for the Gamecocks after he joined the program in 2018 as he played in all 13 games, that season and started the last 5 games. Roderick finished this past season with 64 tackles, including one for loss. He also forced 2 fumbles and recovered another.

“There is a lot of unfinished business and we have not even scratched the surface of our potential,” he wrote. “I’m going to train harder like never before to get stronger, bigger and faster to increase my level of impact on the field Let’s run it back!”
