Sam Pittman rolled the dice on fourth down, and instead of going through with a 54-yard field goal attempt, Arkansas produced a terrific fake field goal against LSU.
Holder Reid Bauer jumped up and squirted through the line of scrimmage and scampered down the sideline for a 23-yard gain to extend Arkansas’ drive at the LSU 36 with 2:36 left in the third quarter. It was fourth down and 6, and the Razorbacks eventually produced a 9-play 53-yard drive that ended with an actual field goal by Cam Little from 27 yards out.
Arkansas pulled ahead 13-10, and held the lead for just over 4 minutes until LSU tied it following a 12-play scoring drive.
