Pitt sophomore guard Trey McGowens is reportedly moving on from the Panthers ahead of the 2020-21 season.
After averaging 11.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game for Pitt this past season, he’ll be a hot commodity on the transfer market.
Per Rivals reporter Corey Evans, 3 SEC teams — Georgia, Ole Miss and Arkansas — are among those that have already reached out to McGowens:
Georgia & Ole Miss are the first two phone calls in for Trey McGowens…should be a long line for this one https://t.co/yUiAMgbTpf

It’s unclear if McGowens will have to sit out this coming season or not, but he should have 2 seasons of eligibility left when he is able to play again.
All of those SEC teams have openings in the backcourt starting this coming season, so we’ll see where he ends up playing for the rest of his college career.
