The Auburn Tigers have been busy adding people to their support staff recently, and they made another hire over the weekend.
Per 247Sports, Gus Malzahn has added former Auburn DL Gary Walker Jr. to the team’s staff as a graduate assistant.
Walker’s career with Auburn came to an end after the 2019 season, but he made an impact during his time on The Plains:
A former walk-on that earned a scholarship with the Tigers, Walker played in 23 games during his career and finished with five tackles and one fumble recovery.
On Auburn’s depth chart to open last season, Walker Jr. played both tackle and end during his career with the Tigers and has a strong legacy in the sport.
Joshua Holsey and Andrew Williams are also former Auburn players who have recently joined the coaching staff.
