The 2020 college football season is set to start for a number of conferences over the next few weeks. Meanwhile, men’s and women’s basketball teams are wondering when their season will start.
On Tuesday, it was reported that the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Oversight Committee came up with a start date.
Per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, the committee will propose a start date of Nov. 25 to the Division I Council:

Nov. 25 was in the mix as a potential start date, per reports that surfaced last week. Another date was in early December.
This is just a recommendation at this stage, obviously, so we’ll see what happens when the Division I Council meets to make a final decision.
