A couple of weeks ago, the Tennessee Titans released backup QB Blaine Gabbert after he appeared in eight games for the team in 2018.
Now, the former Mizzou quarterback is a free agent, though it seems he could soon land with a new squad, which will be his fifth team in nine years.
Per a report from Greg Auman, Gabbert is expected to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers within the next few hours:
Nothing final, but expect Bucs to sign veteran QB Blaine Gabbert as a backup in next 24 hours. Played under Arians/Goodwin/Leftwich in Arizona in 2017, was just cut by Titans last week.

In addition to the Titans, Gabbert has also played for the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Gabbert threw for 626 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions in 2018, making three starts for the Titans.
