Georgia defensive back Richard LeCounte III was involved in a traffic accident on Saturday evening following the Bulldogs’ return from their game in Lexington against Kentucky, according to multiple reports.

The news was first reported by Rivals.com’s Radi Nabulsi, while DawgNation’s Mike Griffith reports that LeCounte sustained a concussion, according to individuals close to the senior, as well as a bruise to one of his ribs as a result of the accident.

247Sports is reporting that LeCounte was driving a motorcycle and was involved in an accident with another car. He is in stable condition, but it’s more serious than being dinged up.

A SEC First Team preseason selection, LeCounte has 26 tackles in 5 games this season, including a career-best 13 during Saturday’s win against the Wildcats. He has also recorded 3 interceptions.

Georgia travels to Jacksonville to take on Florida on Nov. 7.
