A day after the Rose Bowl victory, it appears that Georgia will lose a staffer to Mississippi State following the season.

FootballScoop is reporting that special teams analyst Scott Fountain will join Joe Moorhead’s staff at MSU after the season.

Georgia hired Fountain after he was fired from Auburn in June. He previously coordinated Auburn’s special teams and tight ends coach. He also served as Auburn’s director of player personnel from 2009-12. He’s had stops at FSU, UCF and Iowa State, among other places, during his career.

Fountain is known for being a very good recruiter, and he’ll be a solid addition to Moorhead’s staff in Starkville.

Georgia, on the other hand, is reportedly hiring linebackers coach Dan Lanning from Memphis.
