Report: Mizzou without key offensive player as spring practices start

The Missouri Tigers are starting off their spring practices under new head coach Eliah Drinkwitz on Saturday.
However, when the offense takes the field, it will be without a key player heading into the 2020 season. That player is TE Daniel Parker Jr., who is the favorite to be the starting tight end after Albert Okwuegbunam left for the NFL Draft.
Per Dave Matter, Parker is dealing with an eye infection and is out indefinitely:

The severity of the eye infection is not known at this time, but it seems unlikely that it would keep him out through the summer and fall.
Still, getting spring reps in a new offense is important, so we’ll see how long Parker has to sit out.
