The Tennessee Volunteers face the tough task of trying to end the regular season with an upset over No. 5 Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon.

Now, that task will be even tougher, as it has been reported that the Vols will be without a pair of key assistants on Saturday.

Per VolQuest.com, 2 Tennessee assistant coaches will miss the game due to COVID-19 concerns:

Sources confirm to Volquest that defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley and running backs coach Jay Graham will both be unavailable for COVID reasons.

With Ansley out, head coach Jeremy Pruitt will call the Vols’ defensive plays. He, obviously, has done that in the past with great success, as he was the defensive coordinator at Alabama prior to becoming Tennessee’s head coach.

How will the Vols’ defense fare on Saturday against the Aggies?
