LSU TE Thaddeus Moss took advantage of a strong finish to the 2019 season to declare for the 2020 NFL Draft a year early.

However, he didn’t work out at the NFL Combine this week, and that was reportedly due to a foot injury that was revealed during his medical exam.

Per Tom Pelissero, Moss has a Jones fracture in his right foot that will require surgery. It will also potentially cost him the chance to work out at LSU’s pro day:

Obviously, that’s a big setback for Moss, but the good news is that he’s expected to be at full strength for the start of the NFL season.

Now, we’ll just have to wait and see how much this affects his draft position in April.
