Robert Griffin was on the call for the KU and Arizona State game in London yesterday, but he was also able to check out the big-time comeback Mississippi State had against South Carolina. The Bulldogs were able to overcome a 16-0 second-quarter deficit to get the victory, with Kamario Taylor leading the way with four passing touchdowns. Taylor has been one of the most surprising players in college football and has quickly been garnering the attention of NFL guys.
After seeing Taylor and the Bulldogs on Saturday, Griffin believes they should not only be ranked, but in the top 15.
On the season, Taylor has thrown for 853 yards, 11 touchdowns and only 1 interception. He can make every throw you would want from a quarterback, and weekly is delivering incredible passes like this.
Up next for the Bulldogs and Taylor is a home game against the undefeated Missouri Tigers, who knocked off Troy on Saturday. That starts a stretch for the Bulldogs where they play five consecutive teams ranked in the top 25. Griffin believes the Bulldogs should be in the top 25, and they are going to have plenty of opportunities over the next month to prove they belong.
