Ryan Williams, 5-star Alabama commit, reclassifies from 2025 class
Ryan Williams will be heading to Alabama earlier than expected after reclassifying to the 2024 class.
Williams is a 5-star commit at wideout hailing from Saraland (Ala.) High. Williams accounted for more than 5,000 all-purpose yards and 80 total touchdowns in his 3 years at Saraland.
It’s safe to say that he’s a highly sought after recruit. Auburn, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M are the SEC teams reportedly interested in him.

The Crimson Tide are getting a versatile multi-sport athlete as well. Williams plays basketball and also competes in track and field events.
Alabama lost its only 5-star verbal commit in the 2025 class, but that just means that fans will get to see Williams next fall. The only wideout in Alabama’s 2025 class is now 4-star commit Jaime Ffrench. Jameer Grimsley is the other receiver commit in Nick Saban’s 2024 class.
The Crimson Tide will be getting an electric playmaker in Williams. Here’s a highlight tape of him from this year:
