After the game, Wildcats head coach John Calipari told reporters that Wheeler aggravated a knee injury from earlier this month. Calipari expressed optimism that Wheeler will be okay after missing a few days.
John Calipari on Sahvir Wheeler: “Hopefully he’ll be okay, he hurt his knee. Same knee he hurt 10 days ago.”
No official timeline, but said it was twisted. Kept him out a few days the last time.

Kentucky’s next exhibition game is scheduled for Thursday against Kentucky State. The regular-season tips off Nov. 7 when UK hosts Howard.
