Arkansas coach Sam Pittman is set to get a couple key players back this week as the Razorbacks take on Ole Miss in Fayetteville.
RB Rakeem Boyd and TE Hudson Henry are due back after missing time recently, Boyd tweeted and Pittman referred to on Thursday to reporters. Meanwhile, Arkansas LB Levi Draper had shoulder surgery and is out for a while.
“I think Hudson Henry will be available this week,” Pittman said.
Boyd, a preseason All-SEC selection, is recovering from a lower leg injury, early Thursday, he tweeted, “I’m back!”
Henry traveled to Auburn last week, but didn’t play for undisclosed reasons.
Pittman said Draper’s injury had given him problems before.
“I hate it for him because he worked awful hard and he was doing a good job for us,” Pittman said, per Hawg Beat. “We knew it was serious, but we didn’t know if it needed surgery until about a day or two before we decided he probably needs to go ahead and get it done.”
“Rakeem said he’s back? I’m going to have to follow him on Twitter. I’d be great to have him.” – Pittman lol
