Scott Van Pelt made a pick in this weekend’s clash between Arkansas and Florida in Gainesville.

The veteran ESPN host made the pick during his weekly “winners’ segment this week. He’s going with the Razorbacks on the road in this matchup. Van Pelt did acknowledge Arkansas’ 6-game losing streak going into this matchup.

“It’s not been great, but we’re calling on the Hogs to keep it close in Gainesville,” Van Pelt said.

Van Pelt is 9-2 all-time when picking Arkansas during ‘winners’.

Arkansas has not won since it defeated Kent State back on Sept. 9. The Razorbacks have to win all four of their remaining games if they’re going to reach the postseason this year.

Florida is coming off of a disappointing performance in a 43-20 loss to Georgia last week. Prior to that game against the Bulldogs, the Gators had won back-to-back SEC games.

Florida is 10-2 all-time against the Razorbacks. UF won the last meeting between these teams back in 2020, 63-35.

Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
