The SEC announced its 2025 All-Freshman team on Thursday, a group of first-year (and in some instances second-year) players that was dominated by Alabama and Tennessee.
Four different players from both the Crimson Tide and the Vols were named to the All-Freshman team — the most of any program. That included standout Tennessee receiver Braylon Staley, who was named Freshman of the Year by the SEC on Wednesday.
Georgia had 3 selections. Florida’s Vernell Brown III earned recognition at 3 different positions.
In total, 12 teams were represented across the offense, defense, and special teams units. Nine schools had multiple selections.
