SEC announces kickoff times for Week 5, including multiple potential top-25 matchups

The SEC has announced kickoff times and possible TV designations for its Week 5 slate.
Week 5, which is headlined by multiple potential top-25 matchups, is set for Oct. 3. There’s a total of 6 SEC vs. SEC games that week and LSU will also be in action against McNeese as the Tigers wrap up nonconference play for the 2026 season.
Kickoff times have been finalized for 5 of the 7 games — Vanderbilt–Georgia and Alabama–Mississippi State are still to be announced, but both will be early kickoffs.
TV designations are less certain across the board with several games that could still air on various Disney networks. Here’s a complete picture as things stand on Monday afternoon:
- Vanderbilt at Georgia — Noon or 12:45 p.m. ET — ABC, ESPN or SEC Network
- Alabama at Mississippi State — Noon or 12:45 p.m. ET — ABC, ESPN or SEC Network
- Auburn at Tennessee — 3:30 p.m. ET — ABC or ESPN
- Florida at Missouri — 3:30 p.m. ET — ABC or ESPN
- Kentucky at South Carolina — 4:15 p.m. ET — SEC Network
- Arkansas at Texas A&M — 7 p.m. ET — ESPN or ESPN2
- McNeese at LSU — 7:45 p.m. ET — SEC Network
Alabama-Mississippi State and Florida–Mizzou are both potential top-25 matchups. All 4 of those programs are currently ranked ahead of Week 4, though Mississippi State and Mizzou play each other on Saturday so at least 1 of those 4 programs will pick up a loss this weekend and likely fall out of the top-25.
Florida also has a tough Week 4 assignment as the Gators host Ole Miss on Saturday.
Final kickoff times and TV network designations will be announced following the conclusion of Week 4.
