Six of SEC teams get a Halloween bye this year. That leaves us with just five conference affairs to end October. With less inventory, the SEC’s matchups could be spread across just two TV networks.

On Monday, the SEC revealed its kickoff times for Week 9. All five of the conference’s games begin at different times, but at this moment, are only split between ABC and SEC Network:

The Mississippi State-Texas TV designation likely depends, in part, on both Kamario Taylor’s health and Texas’ performance vs. Ole Miss in Week 8. If the Longhorns beat the Rebels and remain in the College Football Playoff hunt, that game will have a shot at being on ABC. ESPN seems destined to broadcast the matchup if Texas loses for the third straight week.

Following Florida’s win and Georgia’s loss in Week 7, the Gators-Bulldogs rivalry battle is the biggest game on the schedule. The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party takes place in Atlanta this season — instead of its usual Jacksonville location — due to the NFL’s Jaguars’ stadium renovations. Next year’s game is in Tampa before it returns to Jacksonville in 2028.
