The SEC announced programming details for its Week 6 slate on Monday afternoon.
Week 6 will kick off at high noon on the ABC Network with a matchup between the Kentucky Wildcats and the Georgia Bulldogs between the hedges down in Athens in a rematch of what was a surprisingly competitive game between the 2 squads in 2024.
This will be followed up by one of the most highly anticipated games of the season between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Vanderbilt Commodores at 3:30, a rematch that both squads have had circled since Vandy knocked off the Tide last season in shocking fashion.
This will be paired with a matchup between the Texas Longhorns and Florida Gators, and the network on which each of these games airs will depend on how Week 5 ultimately shakes out.
Lastly, the SEC Network will feature 2 matchups with Oklahoma facing off against Kent State at 4 PM, and Mississippi State taking on Texas A&M at 7:30.
All in all, this isn’t the most stacked SEC slate of the season, but there is plenty of potential for some shocking upsets should the higher-ranked teams end up overlooking their opponents.
