For the first time since the 2008-09 season, the Volunteers are the overall preseason favorite.

With a mix of young talent and experience has raised expectations that Tennessee can win the SEC regular season title for the second time in four seasons and maybe even think of the program’s first Final Four.

The Vols are set to be led by John Fulkerson, a first-team media selection, and Yves Pons, who made the league’s second team for the Vols as voted on by the media.
