Tennessee and Alabama enter the 2014 season as the only two programs to have won 800 or more games. Four other teams — Georgia, LSU, Auburn and Texas A&M — have won more than 700 games during their program’s history.
Three SEC teams — Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Mississippi State — have all won less than .500 of their games, but the Commodores are sitting right at .499 winning percentage following last year’s nine-win season.
Alabama falls ninth in total wins nationally behind Michigan, Yale, Texas, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Harvard as college football’s winningest programs.
