Netflix’s SEC football docuseries will not be back this fall.

SEC Football: Any Given Saturday premiered on Netflix in August 2025. Front Office Sports shared Tuesday that there is no new season coming in 2026.

While Any Given Saturday premiered in August 2025, it chronicled 10 SEC teams during the 2024 college football season. There has not been any filming for a second season, but the door is not completely closed.

Our original plan was to do one season and then reassess,โ€ an SEC spokesperson told FOS. โ€œWe have discussed the possibility of a second season, as well as whether there may be other opportunities or approaches worth exploring.

As noted by Front Office Sports, Netflixโ€™s second half of 2025 engagement report showed that SEC Football: Any Given Saturdayย logged 3 million views (total hours of a program viewed divided by run time) from Aug. 5, 2025 through December, ranking 780th out of the 7,700-plus programs listed.

We thought our appearance on Netflix last year was beneficial for us,โ€ a South Carolina spokesperson told FOS. โ€œIt did take a lot of time, effort, and coordination amongst our staff. We are open to working with them again in the future, should the opportunity arise.

South Carolina was one of 10 SEC programs featured, along with Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.
