Who showed out on gameday during Week 10 of the SEC season? Here’s a quick glance:
ARKANSAS: Tight end Hunter Henry came up big for the Razorbacks with 110 yards on seven receptions, but it wasn’t enough against Mississippi State.
AUBURN: Cameron Artis-Payne ran tough between the tackles against the SEC’s best defense, finishing with 143 yards rushing, his sixth triple-digit outing of the season.
FLORIDA: Running backs Matt Jones and Kelvin Taylor combined for 389 yards rushing on 50 carries during the Gators’ first win over Georgia in four seasons.
GEORGIA: Nick Chubb managed 215 yards of total offense and two touchdowns in a losing cause.
KENTUCKY: Tailback Mikel Horton had a strong first half for the Wildcats and finished with a season-high 62 yards rushing on 10 carries.
MISSISSIPPI: Bo Wallace bounced back from a dreadful performance at LSU with 340 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Auburn. A potential game-winning touchdown pass late was overturned on a fumble.
MISSISSIPPI ST.: Let’s give this sticker to Fred Ross who got loose behind the Arkansas defense and saved the Bulldogs’ unbeaten season with the go-ahead 69-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter.
MISSOURI: With two sacks, junior pass rusher Shane Ray set the single-season program record for sacks in a season (12). He’ll surely add to that total after the Tigers were given new life in the East race.
SOUTH CAROLINA: Sophomore Pharoh Cooper was responsible for four touchdowns — pass, rush, 2 catches — against Tennessee and recorded a school-record 233 yards receiving. He also made a nice play on an onside kick late.
TENNESSEE: Joshua Dobbs was spectacular for the Vols, rushing for a school-record 166 yards for a quarterback along with 304 yards passing. He was responsible for five total touchdowns.
TEXAS A&M: Freshman Myles Garrett broke Jadeveon Clowney’s SEC record (8.0) for sacks in a season, adding 2.5 to his team-best total.
VANDERBILT: Quarterback Johnny McCrary flourished for the second straight week for the Commodores, throwing for five touchdowns during a win over Old Dominion.
