The Associated Press asked its poll voters to ranked college football’s best mascots prior to the start of the 2014 season.

Here’s how they voted:

  1. Uga โ€” Georgia
  2. Ralphie โ€” Colorado
  3. Mike the Tiger โ€” LSU
  4. Stanford Tree โ€” Stanford
  5. Duck โ€” Oregon
  6. Chief Osceola โ€” Florida State
  7. Bevo โ€” Texas
  8. Mountaineer โ€” West Virginia
  9. Sparty โ€” Michigan State
  10. Masked Rider โ€” Texas Tech

Uga, Georgia’s English Bulldog, has been the school’s live mascot since 1956. Head coach Wally Butts asked owner Sonny Seiler, who brought the pup with him to a game, to use him as Georgia’s mascot.

Uga has his own uniform and house — an ice-packed kingdom — at Sanford Stadium.
