That the SEC excels on the gridiron is no secret. But what often goes overlooked is the conference’s academics.
The SEC saw 395 football players named to the conference’s fall honor roll. Arkansas led with 40 players, followed by Alabama with 36. Florida and LSU tied for the fewest, each landing 22.
This list also reveals the most challenging majors. Among the notables are two starting quarterbacks in Tennessee’s Joshua Dobbs, an aerospace engineer, and Patrick Towles, formerly of Kentucky, who appears to prepping for a career in politics.
