SEC Nation announces country music star’s performance for Saturday’s show in Starkville

SEC Nation is headed to Starkville for the Deep South conference clash between No. 5 Georgia and host Mississippi State. The SEC Network show has now announced who the musical guest will be for this weekend’s edition.

Country music star Hardy will perform on Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. ET live from Mississippi State’s campus.

The 35-year-old Hardy’s most recent studio album is Country! Country!, which debuted on Sept. 26. Hardy has also written songs for  Chris Lane, Florida Georgia Line, Dallas Smith, Blake Shelton, Morgan Wallen, and Thomas Rhett.

SEC Nation will be broadcast from The Junction from 9 am to 11 am local time. Host Laura Rutledge will be alongside Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers and Tim Tebow to go over the weekend’s SEC slate.

Mississippi State is 5-4 overall and will be aiming for its first home victory in SEC play this season. Mississippi State’s last home win was a 38-10 victory against Northern Illinois on Sept. 20. Mississippi State is coming off a 38-35 win at Arkansas last weekend.

Meanwhile, Georgia is looking to extend its winning streak to 5 games since falling to Alabama in Week 4. Georgia edged rival Florida 24-20 last Saturday from Jacksonville.
