The SEC Network has made a name for itself with a College GameDay-like show, SEC Nation, highlighting the biggest games around the conference. This weekend, they are making their first trip to Norman, Oklahoma, with the Auburn Tigers visiting for the first time, with both teams in the SEC.

The show will broadcast from the South Oval on the University of Oklahoma’s campus from 10 a.m. to noon ET on Saturday, Sept. 20. The show, hosted by Laura Rutledge with Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers, and Tim Tebow, opened the season in Atlanta before the Syracuse vs Tennessee matchup. Then, they went to the Kansas-Missouri and Florida-LSU games the last two weeks.

The Sooners joined the SEC last season but did not play well enough to be noticed by the media. They went 6-7 and struggled to do much on offense. This season, they look entirely different, with the Sooners redoing their entire offense with Ben Arbuckle as offensive coordinator and John Mateer under center.

This is also a massive game for Auburn because the Tigers have looked great to start the year, beginning with a big win against Baylor on the road. If they can sneak out with a win in Norman, they have a chance to cement themselves among the SEC contenders.

The game is massive for the city of Norman, and it is a huge litmus test for both programs to prove that they belong in the conversation as potential contenders this season.
