SEC Nation rolled into Gainesville on Saturday morning for the big showdown at The Swamp between Florida and No. 9 Texas.
Florida, which drags a 3-game losing streak into the SEC matchup on national TV, will be trying to stop Arch Manning and the Longhorns when the teams kick it off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Billy Napier is hearing the angry groans again from the Florida faithful, but during the SEC Network’s weekly pregame show, there were roars coming from those same fans as the analysts made their picks for the huge showdown that could potentially turn UF’s season around.
One particular SEC Nation analyst riled up the crowd like nobody else on the planet, let alone the set, possibly could. That guy is Tim Tebow, the Florida football legend among legends, who naturally was left to make his pick last. You can guess who the former Gators quarterback picked to win Saturday’s game, but Tebow, as only he can, made his selection with a passion and a flair that was unmatched.
Tebow even included a little change of clothes for his memorable selection:
As for the rest of the crew, Jordan Rodgers and Paul Finebaum both picked Texas while Roman Harper went with the Gators.
