Under the lights of Kyle Field on Saturday night, the Aggies wore black jerseys, and so did their fans to create a “blackout” atmosphere against Mississippi State.

The Aggies went on to beat Mississippi State 31-9, and their home crowd provided the energy.

It’s the second straight season Texas A&M has worn black jerseys for a game, and Peter Burns of ESPN believes the Aggies should do this for every night game the rest of the season.

Texas A&M’s next night game is against Florida at home this weekend. As of now, there are no public pans for the Aggies to have another “blackout.”

The game against the Gators is their only confirmed night home game on schedule as of now. We’ll see if Texas A&M wears the black uniforms again or if they will be back to their classic look against Florida.

After the meeting with Florida, Texas A&M only has two other home games for the rest of the 2025 season: South Carolina on Nov. 15 and Samford on Nov. 22.
