SEC Network announces ‘Florida takeover’ schedule for Monday, July 6

The SEC Network will have a full day of Florida Gators programming on Monday, July 6.
Monday will serve as the ‘Florida Takeover’ day on the SEC Network, an annual tradition that sees each SEC program be granted a full-day marathon of games from the prior season. Florida football will certainly be featured, but so will sports like gymnastics, baseball, volleyball, soccer, and men’s basketball.
The slate will be bookended by football games from Florida’s 2025 season. At midnight ET on Monday, the SEC Network will show the Gators’ upset win over Texas from last October. That result was UF’s first FBS win of the season and played a big role in knocking the Longhorns out of the College Football Playoff.
The SEC Network takeover event will conclude with a showing of Florida football’s win over Florida State from back in November. UF trounced the Noles in Gainesville, snapping a 4-game losing streak and ensuring that interim head coach Billy Gonzalez would leave his post with a win on his résumé.

The Florida men’s basketball team will also be featured twice. Their wins over Arkansas and Alabama will be shown on SEC Network during the takeover marathon.

- Midnight — Football: Texas at Florida (Oct. 4, 2025)
- 2:30 a.m. — Lacrosse: Colorado at Florida (April 4, 2026)
- 4:30 a.m. — Track & Field: SEC Outdoor Championships (May 16, 2026)
- 6:30 a.m. — Soccer: Mississippi State at Florida (Oct. 10, 2025)
- 8:30 a.m. — Men’s Basketball: Arkansas at Florida (Feb. 28, 2026)
- 10:30 a.m. — Softball: Tennessee at Florida (March 21, 2026)
- 12:30 p.m. — Volleyball: Florida vs. Pittsburgh at AVCA First Serve (Aug. 24, 2025)
- 2:30 p.m. — Baseball: Miami at Florida (May 30, 2026)
- 5:30 p.m. — Men’s Basketball: Alabama at Florida (Feb. 1, 2026)
- 7:30 p.m. — Gymnastics: SEC Women’s Gymnastics Championships Presented by Sprouts Farmers Market (March 21, 2026)
- 9:30 p.m. — Football: Florida State at Florida (Nov. 29, 2025)
Florida football will open the 2026 season against Florida Atlantic on Sept. 5.
